3. Power Trippin'
4. Annhiliate Now
5. No Heaven (for a free mason)
6. American Dreams
7. Chill Pill
8. Most Loved for The Most Hated
9. Dead by 27

yeah so i thunked up a name for that new jam (track 6) i think this is the order it will go, willing to put money on no one really offering up advice on the tracklist! i have 3 sogns left so just saying we were 99% done was just silly i suppose. working it out as best as i can with Joe, he's awfully kind and understanding. However a few others have not been. Not gonna let it phase me though, i was never one to really force anything out of myself anyhow. We bailed hard on our june 8th show with Decades from TX and believe me i feel like a tool for that one. Sorry guys. No one else seemed to really be bothered though! Practicing with the new drummer dude once or twice, time to buckle down and get it going if we want to make it down to Significant Fest (our first real out of state fest, we played MD metal&hardcore 2 years). Mike C has mostly finished the cover art so that leaves me finishing the rest of the layout i wish i could have derek or pete over my shoulder this time....i'm going to have to pitch to them exactly what we want so we we know exactly what the outcome will be. That's where we are now, 3 songs left, most of the album packaging on its way to completion. After that it will be time to release. hopefully soon so we can have this drop the same time as 2 of our other favorite bands are releasing records later this summer (see: Clutch & Every Time I Die) Stranges Cousins from the west and New Junk Aesthethic . Real pumped. Hopefully see you soon?

No Quarter

Its hard to wrap my head around one thought, we've got a lot up in the air right now. Still two to three days tracking and I want to do something a little special we need to get together maybe we get roll something out beings were jamming with Jon on drums...I guess I'll see what they think. A man named Mike C is doing the cover art we'll handle the rest of the package and can't wait to see what he comes up with. More once we get closer to finishing the record!

CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE

The full length is about 99. something percent finished ( hurry the fuck up josh!) hahaha But bigger topics are at hand. For those who dont know , Steve ( founding member and drummer) has left the band and is getting on to different things in life. Hes getting married in the next year so big ups to Steve. They will be some big shoes to fill as not just anyone can get behind the set and slam out our tunes. We aren't bitter , we are all friends and are not taking this easy but we are taking it maturely ( ya feel me?)
With that said...... we have the open spot taken care of and we look forward to writing more and evolving as we have over the past 6 years. We are showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. The full length sounds raw as fuck and we cannot wait to release it.
Big thanks to Joe mitra at wired wrists studios , derek zipp and uncle Pete with the dead truth camp , and thank you to the select peoples who are out checkin our groove.

I dont mean to beat a dead horse but I never get on here to spit at ya'll. I just want to say thanks to Steve. I aint getting sappy on ya'll but Steve has been an integral part of the person standing in my shoes everyday. Its going to be a huge hole in all of our hearts not having Steve around even aside of his skill on the kit. We're all proud of what he's done for us and we are more proud of what he's definately going to achieve in life . He's got it going on and we wouldn't want him to have it any other way. Can't be a ramblin' man forever. Thanks Steve!

wrapping up tracking...

Working on recording vocals..comin in after work on some days sucks I'm so smelly, tired, dirty and just pissed so I guess that makes for a decent setting to get the vox done...got about 5 songs left to do. Joe and I are playing this by ear..he is generous enough to let that go down. Dude is lookin out for us in a big way...

As for anything else...
We've got to get new guy schooled on all of our songs for drums so we can do some touring. Right now we have plans to go down to florida and hopefully out west..sit back, stare at the clock and watch time crawl so slow...

i like the nightlife baby

Damn just woke up in this wretched ass funk..everytime I reach for you it just feels like the skins pullig off my bones. That's okay because I still remember standing on these city streets and it goes through me like a shock. This life feels like a warzone, the beauty of our brashness speaks for itself these days. Just some bullshit.. I know we're gonna shiver. Just like I know this shit coming out of the speakers. Its true, honest, meaningful and a reflection of roads less traveled that maybe we all need to consider taking. Learn how to love, forget how to hate. Heading back in all day today and laying down vox tonight. J. Mitra is killing it people, watch out.

day 7 @ wired wrists

Well everyones rolled out. Leaving me alone to do the vocals so I guess all I can do is try my hardest to crank this out. The songs are sweet and I'm happy alarmed has outlasted plenty of trends as well as fairweather friends. I'm beat to death exhausted mentally and physically is another story. I hope this means tonight ill get to sleep early. Before I start to ramble off...since I'm cold chillin all solo in the studio, everyone has bailed. We'll see how this goes

Day 6 @ wired wrists

The songs are coming along I think were close to 50ish hours here...some nights have been longer than usual for some of us. Plenty of getting down and visitors to occupy the blank time for he who's not recording. In the studio we've been getting the sounds out of this record that we essentially always needed. The final touches on most of the guitars are being put on moving this project on to the vocal piece. J. Mitra is doing a stellar job helping us experiment and grow with our recording process. We've got some progress left to make tracking on top of mixing. There will be two songs from the e.p. Re-recorded for the full length and the rest will be pulled out of the hat for this record... We couldn't be more ready for this record to come out. We've got a lot of groove to instill in the ears of future listeners.

day2 @ wire wrists studio

Didn't have a chance to make it down it in last night/ had to work and decided I'd spend majority of the time here with strings and doing vocals. So far we've recorded scratch tracks and completed all the percussion tracks, may be steves last impression on the band he helped shape! We hope not and don't think we'll lose him for good but regardless the tracklist is as follows;

(Tentative order)

1. Alarmed
2. Brainwashed
3. The Great Dissapearer
4. Power Trippin'
5. Annhiliate Now
6. No Heaven (for a free mason)
7. New song #1(unnamed)
8. Chill Pill
9. Most Loved for The Most Hated
10. Dead by 27

Joe will be helping produce this with Alarmed and were stoked. The mans got a lot of good ideas. Probably going to hit up O'sheas for Drews 22nd birthday and to slam a few guiness.

Ill update with a few pictures later!

BURY ME IN SMOKE

Windows are closing
Keep me locked away
No chance was given
To find myself today
My time of aging
Wonder when I'll die
But when my time will come
I know the reason why

I have an escape
Alone it keeps me safe within my home
I have a reason
To keep me satisfied until I'm gone
Don't regret the rules I broke
When I die bury me in smoke

Under the world
I wait for my fate
My soul is resting
Beneath my blissful haze
My time of aging
Wonder when I'll die
But when my time will come
I know the reason why

I have an escape
Alone it keeps me safe within my home
I have a reason
To keep me satisfied until I'm gone
Don't regret the rules I broke
When I die bury me in smoke

Ravens @ miami

defense domination

tour update 2

so we continue our story in florida. we drove down to zach's dad's house in orlando to visit and hang, ended up sitting in 6 hours of traffic for no apparent reason. so we finally make it down to ted's house and hang out, ted rules hard, always down to hang. from there we made our way down to lake worth florida and palyed at klein dance studio with soul control, i rise, like wolves, and a couple locals, one being john warden's band that we missed, sorry! all the bands played good sets, big ups to john mchale for booking the show. some trash was talked concerning the miami dolphins/baltimore ravens playoff game this weekend which is currently on (go ravens!!!) so that night was new years eve, we met up with pete and he fed us well with some vegan chilli and corn bread, so good. hung out and shot the shit with that dude and a couple dudes from forty winters were hangin out. met up with john warden and sam kooby later on at a house party which ruled until some shit started ragin out. bailed from that spot pretty quick and recooped over at pete's and caught some z's. next day we bolted on our over to tampa and played at transitions with a bunch of touring bands, big ups to JP and Tom for holding it down and helping us out. All bands played very well, sold some shit, hung out with zach's sister who lives in tampa then headed to andy's uncle's awesome house to crash out. next day andy's aunt hooked it up with some eggs and bacon and we all hung out with his fam and had a good time. left from there and headed up to jacksonville to play at doozer's pub with the same tour package. the show ended up not going down, the venue was double booked and the person who booked the show was not even in attendence so we bogarted out of that spot and strapped down for the 12 hour drive to jackson mississippi. ended up there at about 10am the next day and hung out with semmes who booked the show and a couple of his buddies, lots of dicks involved, it was wierd. i ended up sleeping in the van most of the day. we played the bombshelter with the mongoloids and mother of mercy. the venue was a super diy space which was awesome, lots of kids came out. mongoloids and MOM killed it, mongoz played a LOA cover, it ruled. so after the show we made the big drive back to north carolina and are at luke's house right now gettin down and watchin the ravens. we play in statesville tonight, home tomorrow, good ass tour. we got some local shows comin up, baltimore heads come out!
